Baseball is a sport like no other, and demands training like no other sport. Every player is expected to be strong and explosive, stable and flexible, and these qualities are similar to other sports but what makes the difference is the player must be accurate with in millimeters. Take hitting a ball, this skill alone is considered by many professionals to be the most difficult task in any sport, so not only must the player be strong and fast but they must have enough control to perform a precision task.
This is why WST believes that to train baseball players is more then just lifting weights, and doing some plyos. Every aspect of the player’s development must be considered from shoulder health to proper sprinting mechanics. We work with coaches, parents, and players in building programs that develop the 5 tools of every great baseball player.
