Basketball is a unique sport that has special demands for training. Basketball is one of the only truly vertical games, and so much of the training is associated with lower body explosion and strength. That is not to say that the upper body is not important, but it is used for stability and longevity of the player. The programs at WST are designed to increase the player’s explosion and strength associated in making the player faster on the court as well as prevent many of the lower body injuries associated with basketball. Each program is designed with the player to develop a cutting edge program and progression.
#1- Airborne program = This program builds vertical jump power and functional strength.
#2- Ground Attack program = This program builds foot speed and agility for explosive starts and moves.
#3- Prevention Program = This program builds the functional body awareness, and stability to prevent the most common basketball injuries.
